Follow Dr Tienie Boshoff to Gain Grenada Citizenship

"The experience of the Latitude Group team in building complicated financial files helped us to ultimately succeed in our application. One of the big bonuses of working with Ilana was that she is always contactable and always reverts on time with a solution."

Entrepreneurs have been attracted to Grenada’s citizenship programme since it was introduced in 2013. The Caribbean’s reputation as a top-tier tourist destination has lent an air of exclusivity to its programmes. In 2022, Grenada CBI achieved an all-time high, raising approximately $US134 million.

The Grenada Citizenship-by-Investment programme is your entry point to seven wonderful islands off the north coast of Venezuela. Breathe in the piquant fragrances of the “Spice Isle”. With a Grenada passport, you qualify for visa-free access to 146 countries, which helps to explain why it is rated the fourth-best Citizenship-by-Investment programme in the world.

RIF Trust, part of Latitude Group. has long-championed Caribbean citizenship programmes. A Latitude Group client who now has Grenadian nationality thanks to us is retired South African pathologist, Dr Tienie Boshoff. One of his “greatest loves is travelling with my wife and daughter.”

A Friendly Tip

Dr Tienie heard about Grenada CBI through his good friend, Dr Piet. Recently retired, Dr Tienie resides in Somerset West in the Western Cape. He first started investigating investment migration in 2019.

However, Dr Tienie was unable to “find a good provider at the time and then got busy with work again.” Back then, he was considering residency by investment in Malta and Portugal. But, after retiring in 2022, and then talking with Dr Piet, Dr Tienie switched focus to the Caribbean.

How to Follow in Dr Tienie’s Footsteps

When Dr Tienie speaks about Grenada citizenship by investment, he talks with authority. His prognosis is simple: “My advice to someone starting this process now is to make sure that their financial information is clear and well-documented.” “Be very clear on the requirements before you start your application so that you can time the delivery of documents and avoid repeating some processes.”

You can obtain Grenada citizenship by investing in a development such as Silversands.

Battling Against Covid Restrictions

Like his good friend, Dr Piet, Dr Tienie enthuses about our advisor Ilana. Her “continued advice and network of service providers has been invaluable. “At the time of our application, we were at the tail end of Covid restrictions and many civil services were extremely slow.”

“Ilana has a selection of lawyers, notaries, and translators in SA that helped speed up our process significantly.” “The experience of the Latitude Group team in building complicated financial files helped us to ultimately succeed in our application. One of the big bonuses of working with Ilana was that she is always contactable and always reverts on time with a solution.”

Success summary

The beauty of investing in Grenada citizenship according to Dr Tienie is “there is no requirement to live or spend time there and there is no language requirement.” “I specifically like the fractional ownership model offered by investing in Grenada as it removes any ongoing obligation to manage a property myself.”

Dr Tienie has “no desire to leave South Africa but will use this citizenship and passport to travel.” “The family has already been to the EU to visit Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Belgium.” “In September 2023 we will go to the Rugby World Cup in France and then do a family road trip to the south of France.”
