Saint Kitts and Nevis CBI Extends Its Limited Time Offer

June 30, 2023, was set to mark the end of the Limited Time Offer (LTO) for the Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme. A reduced LTO of US$125,000 (originally US$150,000) for single applicants was scheduled to end.

On June 29, then came a surprise announcement from the Head of the Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit, Michael Martin.  He declared: “We have received an overwhelming response and demand for our Sustainable Growth Fund investment option through the Limited Time Offer and felt that we had to extend the offering for another seven months until 31 January 2024.” “International investors continue to see the value of the world’s first and finest Citizenship by Investment Programme and this proves it.”

Saint Kitts and Nevis CBI: The Back Story

As Michael Martin pointed out, the Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship-by-Investment Programme is the world’s oldest Citizenship by Investment Programme. Established in 1984, it has increased the number of Saint Kitts and Nevis citizens by over 20,000. Inhabitants have received dividend payments from the government which have distributed profits.

Benefits to investors of the LTO continuing include the express processing of your application within 60 days. You will be able to travel to 155 countries visa-free.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew announced Michael Martin as the new Saint Kitts and Nevis’ Head of the Citizenship by Investment Unit in December 2022.  In January 2023, the new CIU head announced the LTO.

Alternative Lower-Priced Caribbean CBI Programmes

Are you a single applicant looking to acquire citizenship by investment? Despite the Limited Time Offer continuing, there are cheaper contribution alternatives in the Caribbean than the Saint Kitts and Nevis Sustainable Growth Fund contribution. They are as follows:

  1. Make a US$100,000 donation to the National Development Fund (NDF) in Antigua and Barbuda
  2. Contribute US$100,000 to the Economic Diversification Fund in Dominica
  3. Invest US$100,000 in the St Lucia National Economic Fund

Latitude Group can help you with more than citizenship by investment. We also handle Residency by Investment applications. These are ideal if you are looking to relocate or have a greater foothold in Europe.
